We are an ambitious and spirited business who as a team follow a practise of MINDFULNESS in every aspect of our publishing process.
We appreciate that:
Work is love in action
Honesty is the best policy
We each create our own reality
We all have a purpose to our life
All living things are to be respected
All it takes is a group of dedicated people to help change the world
As a team building exercise, we aim to have a group meditation at least once a month all together after work.
We follow a Lunar calendar, this means we are always working with energy that has already been provided by the Universe, making our process as seamless as we know we can.
Daisa & Co are very excited to be a part of life at Water's Edge Business and Visitor Centre, North Lincolnshire. We are a spirited company and therefore we are mindful of our carbon footprint and the consequences of our actions on the planet (as we all should be!)
The ethos of this sustainable building is to reduce, reuse and recycle. Some of its eco-friendly elements are as follows; recycled materials in construction, grey water recycling, a biomass boiler and more!
It is uplifting to know that we are doing our part for the planet and 'walking our talk' for not only us but for future generations.
We support local businesses and Independent Bookshops. If you are interested in stocking any of our titles or would like to work together, please get in touch. Some of our titles are available at The Rabbit Hole, Brigg, North Lincs.
MINDFUL WORK/LIFE BALANCE
Our staff are encouraged to take time out of the office when necessary. It is important we all spend time away from our computers as we spend all day on them. This is made easier by living on a Nature Reserve where we can enjoy the tranquility of being nestled amongst nature and by the Humber River.
Forest Stewardship Council
We always operate in a sustainable and responsible way working with UK-based printers to make sure we use ethically sourced paper.
